The Bangladesh
International School (English section) Jeddah 'A' level batch 2005-2006
STUDENTS of Bangladesh
International School (English Section) Jeddah, put up an impressive
performance in their Cambridge University A level and IGCSE exams held
May-June 2006. Thirty-two students appeared for the IGCSE exams and
shared 129 A* 's and A's and 52 B 's , echoing last year 's
excellent results. Results showed improvement in student performance in
Islamic studies, Information Technology, Business Studies, Chemistry,
Biology, English Literature and Maths in comparison to the previous year
's results.
Abdullah Moh'd salimullah
with 8 A* 's and 1 A , and Shamir Osman A.R. Bhuiyan with 3 A* 's, 5 A's
and 1 B, secured the first and second positions respectively.
Ashfaqur Razzaq , with 5 A*
's and 3 A's and Viroshi Lakprabha Sampath with 6 A* 's. 1A and 1B
shared the third position.
In A levels, 16 students
appeared, sharing amongst them 21 A 's and 8 B's . All of the attending
students received A's in Business Studies.
